Although this picture is a quick snap taken on my iPhone, it reflects what it is that I’m enjoying about my few days in Dublin.
Having the days to myself, I can for this short time fill them as I choose – a real luxury. Rather than visiting the regular tourist attractions (I have been fortunate enough to do that before), I am enjoying copious amounts of rest and trying to make the most of it without feeling too guilty. For those guilty moments, I have my work laptop with me – and as a result of my relaxed state have been more productive in a shorter amount of time.
Dublin has many parks in it, and I have wiled away several hours enjoying walking through them, eating my lunch on a bench and taking photographs. I love the cacophony of the park – sounds of happy children, adult chatter, bird song, shouts during games of football, bikes whizzing past (but that’s a different story!)
No plans. Take each moment as it comes. Ideal. Relaxing in Dublin.
